Serve to Change Lives with PEI Potatoes
- Opportunity to acquire surplus potatoes from PEI, for distribution to charitable organizations within our area.
- Wayne attended meeting regarding this.
- The model has already been tried and run with Rotary clubs in Montreal and Muskoka.
- There would be no cost to us other than the cost of picking up bags of potatoes from North Bay.
- Brenda did a survey of organizations within our area that would/may be in need. We would need approx.. 120 ten pound bags of potatoes.
Motion from Wayne: That our club should take on this project.

Bingo
- Rick Juti has signed us up for the next quarter of bingos.
- We have not yet been assigned dates.
- We still have one more bingo for the current quarter
Strategic Planning
- We have been able to find a date for another strategic planning session.
- June 21st at 6 pm. At Masonic Lodge.
For the Good of Rotary
- Jenna: We should probably start working on sponsorship for next golf tournament.
- Golf course has not yet provided dates that we may hold the tournament. Expect in possibly in April.
- Shawn: We should know shortly if the drag races will be held again this year or held off another year.
- Gil: Elliot Lake Secondary School has been notified that we will be providing a $1500 scholarship again this year.
