  • These have already been submitted.

PEI Potatoes

  • Delivery date to Sudbury has been pushed up to the weekend of June 10th.

Popcorn Sales

  • Held Popcorn sales on May 28, 2022, at the newly established, weekly, Farmer and Craft Market.
    • Event was held at Bingo Plus site.
    • Sold 40 bags of popcorn at $1/bag.
    • Revenue generated from sales and donations after expenses was $58.80
  • Next sales event will be at the same market, but this time being held at Collins Hall site on June 12th.
    • This is a special market event where proceeds from the market are going to support Maplegate House for Women.
    • Maplegate initially wanted to sell their own popcorn; however, when they learned that we already had established a relationship with the market organization, they asked us to enter a sharing relationship with them where 50% of profit from our sales would be shared with them. (Donations would be ours). They would not be selling popcorn.
    • We would need one or two volunteers to assist with this event (09:30 to 03:00ish)
  • We have also been approached by the organizers of Mississaugi Provincial Park to sell popcorn at their annual Lumberjack Days event July 30 and 31.
    • We are still waiting on details before we enter an agreement to participate in this event.
  • The Elliot Lake Soccer Club has approached us with a request to sell popcorn twice weekly at their soccer game nights.
    • They have the most registrations it has seen in many years.
    • Soccer is run on Monday and Wednesday nights between 06:30 and 08:30.
    • They have over 170 registered soccer players plus parents, grandparents, siblings etc. coming to soccer nights.
    • The Soccer Club would like to enter into a profit-sharing agreement with Rotary (50/50?).
    • The Soccer Club would be using their share of revenue from popcorn sales to purchase materials for a storage shed they are in need of.
  • According to health regulations we need to be under some sort of shelter to prepare food. Thus far, thus far we have been borrowing a shelter from the Farmer and Craft Market organization. We would need to acquire one of our own at some point. (Could also be utilized for other events as needed)
